Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Counterpoint Creative Solutions Ltd handles personal information when you visit counterpointcreative.support, send us an enquiry, or work with us on a project. We keep the policy short and specific rather than long and vague.
Who is responsible for your information
Counterpoint Creative Solutions Ltd is the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us about any privacy matter at info@counterpointcreative.support or on +44 7878 198865.
What information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form, email us or call us, we receive your name, email address, telephone number if you provide it, and whatever you tell us about your project.
- Project information. If you become a client, we hold the materials you share with us for the purpose of doing the work — brand files, copy, images and feedback.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested, for security and to keep the site working.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, prepare a quote or proposal.
- To carry out and manage work you have asked us to do.
- To keep records of our business relationship, including invoices and agreed scope.
- To keep the website secure and to understand which pages are useful.
Our lawful bases
Where you are in the United Kingdom or European Union, we rely on the following lawful bases: your consent when you submit an enquiry; the performance of a contract when we carry out work for you; our legitimate interests in running and securing a small business; and legal obligation where we must retain records such as invoices.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are necessary for the website to function, and optional cookies to understand which pages are visited. Optional cookies are only set after you choose to accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. See our Cookies page for detail.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us operate: our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our accounting provider where invoicing requires it. Each of these is bound to use the information only for the service they provide.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for twelve months and then deleted. Project records, including invoices, are kept for six years to meet UK accounting requirements. Project files are kept for the period set out in our Terms of Service, after which they are deleted on request or at the end of that period.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted where we have no ongoing reason to keep it, to restrict how it is used, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To make a request, email info@counterpointcreative.support. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom and normally process information here. Where a service provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards that provider has in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant we will make it clear on the site rather than relying on you to re-read the policy.
